"Caravan" is the second in our limited-edition series of t-shirt designs that pair silent film scenes with silent film music. The front of the shirt has a small "Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra" logo over the left chest. The back features a four-color image (using the black of the t-shirt and three ink colors) designed by Rodney Sauer, showing Douglas Fairbanks in costume for The Thief of Bagdad. Below the film scene is an appropriate piece of photoplay music -- Caravan No. 102, by Gaston Borch (a piece used for the "street magician" scene in our film score). Below that is Mont Alto's tag line "Let the Music Do the Talking."
This t-shirt is a limited edition design -- no more than 200 will be sold. The only color is black.
The shirt is available in a men's short-sleeve 100% organic cotton shirt (S - 2XL) and in a women's scoop-neck (S - XL, not organic cotton). The shirts cost $20.
You may order these via check (see our order form) or via Google Checkout by selecting below. If you want more than one t-shirt in one order, contact me via email so that I can set up a payment method that has a single postage amount.
Our first t-shirt -- "Thoughts," with a picture of Nita Naldi and Rudolph Valentino -- is mostly sold out. I have six left -- men's S, 3XL and 4XL, and three women's XL.
